The Area

The curlew is the largest European stilt walker (50-60 cm tall). It is not hard to reconize a curlew, because not any other bird has such a long and bended beak.

In Loeksham special cattle breeds are bred, such as the Blonde d'Aquitaine en de Hereford.

You also can admire he Blonde d'Aquitaine in the close by area de Klencke.

For lovers of fishing, there are plenty of oppurtunitiesm, such as the nearby stream of the "Stieltjeskanaal"
to enjoy nature. 

 
The tench is found in a lot of waters, bur because of the noise on and in the waters it's hard to catch.
However, in the stream of Loeksham itś enough, so higher changes of catching one!
